Playing catch up

Last weekend we went over to our friend's place and had a fondue party with Rachel, Graham, Kaycee and Chad. This was supposed to be a Christmas fondue party but it kept getting pushed back and back. It was a ton of fun. Of course we didn't get any pictures of all of us or of the great spread that we had. I promise you, the food was fantastic! We definately need to get together more and make fondue night a monthly thing :)

Charlie and I went to a park in Apple Valley and he loved the water fountain. He would run away from the playground back to the water fountain every 5 min.

Happy Birthday Dad!!!! It's my dad's birthday tomorrow. We went out to eat tonight to celebrate. I hope you have a great day golfing tomorrow!!! Love you!


Charlie was exhausted and fell asleep on my shoulder at the restaurant. He hasn't done that since he was a baby, I totally loved every minute of it!

Swimming pools, barefoot, and popsicles...

That gives a summary of what we did today :) Summer is here!! Well at least it felt like it today. 80's and humid...LOVE IT!

We decided it was plenty hot out and pulled out the pool for the first time. It felt weird to fill it up since we just had frost not that long ago. Charlie invited his friend Logan over and Carrie and I got to chat while the boys splashed away.

One Happy Mama

Yesterday was so nice, we did a lot of our outside work. We added new mulch to our landscaping, planted new flowers, and spray painted a few outdoor pots and table. It looks so great now! We can't wait for it to be nice everyday so we can sit and enjoy it now.

We had a "helper" all day. He is a true boy and loved running around the yard without shoes on and getting very dirty.

Easter

I'm a little behind on my updates, but I thought that I can't forget about posting the cute pictures of Charlie in his Easter outfit! Now that he is a fast, very active toddler who doesn't sit still for pictures anymore, we don't have a perfect picture, but here are some of the best ones.

We spent Easter at my parents house with my grandparents (Mormormor and Mormorfar to Charlie), my Aunt Lynette, and Heather, Dan and Bethany. It was fun, great food, and really great to spend more time with everyone. Charlie and Bethany had fun with the Easter egg hunt but had more fun dumping them out of their baskets. :) They both looked adorable in their Easter outfits.

Coloring Easter eggs...it was more Brent and I doing the coloring, I think we will wait for next year before letting the little man attempt it :)

Hugs! Bethany LOVES to give Charlie hugs, it's so cute! Sometimes they topple over and it turns into wrestling. They probably give each other 10 hugs each time they see each other :) She is such a sweetie!
